F A Q’s

Do you receive commissions or referral fees from clinics or brands?

1

No. I don't take commissions, referral fees or kickbacks from any clinic, practitioner or brand, ever. When I recommend someone, it's because I rate their work, not because they pay me. That's the whole point of Aesthetic Advice: the advice is mine, and it's honest.

What does a consultation cost and how long is it?

2

€95 for a 20-minute online video consultation. In-person consultations in Dublin city centre are €250 for one hour. I also offer a bespoke hand-holding service, coming with you to consultations, surgery days and recovery, priced on enquiry..

No, I'm not a doctor, and I don't give medical advice, diagnose conditions or prescribe treatments. I'm an award-winning beauty journalist with over 20 years covering aesthetics, wellness and cosmetic medicine, and I've personally tried most of the treatments we talk about. My role is independent guidance and advocacy. Any medical decision is between you and your doctor.

Are you medically qualified?

3

I'm based in Dublin and consultations are online, so you can book from anywhere in the world. My practitioner knowledge is deepest in Ireland and the UK, with trusted contacts in Europe and Dubai too.

5

Where are you based, and can I book from outside Ireland?

4

A personalised action plan: what's worth it for your face, body, budget and lifestyle, what isn't, and tailored recommendations for surgeons, doctors, clinics and therapists to suit your budget, location and goals.

6

What will I leave a consultation with?

What I don’t do?

I don't practise medicine, diagnose conditions, recommend specific medical treatments or sell procedures. All medical evaluations and treatment decisions sit with licensed doctors. I give you independent, non-clinical guidance so you walk into those decisions informed.
