Remove the guesswork
If you’re thinking about a cosmetic treatment or procedure and feel overwhelmed, you’re not alone. The industry is noisy and confusing — hundreds of clinics, countless tweakments, endless filtered before-and-afters, and clinic sales tactics designed to push decisions rather than support them. Add in huge cost variations, real health considerations, and it becomes genuinely hard to know who or what to trust. That quiet gut feeling of “hang on… do I actually need this, or I’m not quite sure about this clinic” is often the most important one in the room.
One honest, no-pressure conversation with me helps cut straight through all of that. I’ll help you work out what’s actually worth it, what isn’t, who to trust, and where to go (or avoid). Whether it’s injectables, lasers, skin treatments, surgery, or simply knowing where to start, my role is to simplify everything so you don’t waste money, get pulled into marketing hype, or end up in treatments you didn’t truly need.
I have no clinic affiliations or brand allegiances, meaning my advice is completely independent. I won’t sugar-coat results, recovery, pain, downtime, or expectations. I’ll tell you the truth — even when it’s not what you want to hear. All my recommendations are based on my own personal experience and in-depth knowledge of the aesthetic and wellness industries.

What makes me qualified to help you on your journey?
I’m an award-winning beauty journalist and editor with over 20 years’ experience at IMAGE, The Irish Times, TV3, and beyond, working at the forefront of aesthetics, wellness, and cosmetic medicine.
I’ve personally tried almost every major non-invasive treatment on the market (see full list below) — and I’ve seen the full spectrum of outcomes. Some have been transformative. Others left me disappointed, scarred, or in significant pain. That lived experience is exactly why I’m so direct and honest in this space.
I’ve spent time in operating theatres and industry training observing leading surgeons, doctors, and nurses, and I regularly attend and speak at global aesthetics conferences, giving me a real-world understanding of how this industry actually works — not just how it’s marketed.
That’s why, in 2019, my sister and I founded the Future Beauty & Health Show at the RDS Dublin, now welcoming more than 8,000 attendees each year seeking clarity, education, and honest advice.
Despite this, I still receive daily requests for one-to-one guidance from people wanting to know what will genuinely work for their face, body, budget, and lifestyle — and what won’t. So I’ve opened my calendar for private consultations.
I maintain a trusted network of leading doctors, surgeons, and clinics, allowing me to point people toward the right specialists quickly and safely when needed.
I’m also a mum of two boys, a business founder, and someone navigating a very full, real life. Like my clients, I don’t have time or money to waste — and I care deeply about protecting your skin, health, confidence, and long-term wellbeing.
My role is simple: to give you clarity, confidence, and honest, experience-led guidance so you can make informed decisions — without the noise.
A snapshot of treatments I’ve trialled in 20 years!
I’ve tried hundreds of aesthetic, wellness, and clinical beauty treatments since 2006 — initially for articles, interviews, and broadcasts, and often simply out of professional curiosity.
Some I’ve paid for myself, others came through editorial access, and the results have ranged from genuinely life-changing to completely underwhelming. A small number have even gone wrong and required corrective work — so I understand this space from every angle.
Over the years, I’ve learned that if every treatment truly delivered on its promises, I’d have the skin of a 12-year-old, the body of a supermodel, and be ageing backwards — which tells you everything you need to know about the reality (and hype) in this industry.
The upside for you is that I’ve already done the trial and error — and seen behind the curtain. I have a very low tolerance for hype, and I’ll quickly tell you what’s worth it and what’s, frankly, nonsense. My job is to save you time, money, and disappointment — and make sure you don’t get sold a dream that won’t deliver.
You can follow my adventures in aesthetics on Instagram, where I share honest, unfiltered insights. The video below is just a snapshot of the past 20 years. For a full list of treatments I’ve personally tried, see those on the list below with an asterisk ones which we can discuss, go here.
